Over iGEM WUR

This year, 12 students from Wageningen UR are participating in the iGEM competition. Our aim is to develop a novel method to combat the mite Varroa destructor. This mite is one of the drivers behind Colony Collapse Disorder and transmits Deformed Wing Virus to bees. Current methods to fight Varroa destructor have their drawbacks, so we want to use synthetic biology to fight the mite. Show your support for the iGEM team by visiting our shop!
