About Tall Ship Avatar

The ship was built in 1941 in Wolgast (D) as a Kriegsfischkutter and sailed as a fishing boat on the North Sea after the end of the war. In 2010 André Hanzens bought the ship to turn it into a beautiful topsail schooner. The Avatar sailed with passengers, mainly on the Baltic Sea, from 2014 to 2023. At the end of 2023 she was sold and given a new name.
